I have been teaching Simply Music Piano Lessons for five years, after spending most of my life either as a student or teacher of traditional piano lessons. While I have a Bachelor's degree in Music education, and considerable years experience teaching traditional piano lessons, the qualification I value most highly is my Simply Music Accreditation, which has proven to be the most enjoyable, most effective approach to learning the piano that I've ever seen.

In 2003, I discovered the Simply Music curriculum online and was intrigued by what I was reading. I talked to the founder, Neil Moore, on the phone and decided to begin the teacher training program right away. With Simply Music I discovered depths to my own playing and learned skills I never acquired in all the years of traditional training, and am able to do the same for my students.  Within the 1st year of lessons, they have already built an extensive repertoire of great sounding music that includes classical, blues, contemporary, gospel, and accompaniment styles and have experience in composing, arranging, improvising, reading, performing, and ensemble playing.  I am tremendously encouraged by the musical skills my Simply Music students are developing, and excited about the potential Simply Music offers to everyone.
